Angry a7n8x- x problems

Ive just got new parts from a system which I ordered last week but did not work.

asus a7n8x-x

xp 2400 retail

now the new parts arent working.

the motherboard beeps now, one long beep. ive removed the graphics card(works on this rig fine) and memory but same problem.

this is becoming ridicolous.

if you could give me some ideas on what else I can do, id be very grateful.

Give us a little more detail. What mobo and cpu did you replace and was it working OK? Is this just one beep and then nothing or one long beep repeating over and over again? Have you re-checked the HSF for correct installation?
