| a7v8x-x bios that unlocks CPU multiplier? Can anyone help me find one of these? Hi everyone, I currently have my Athlon XP 2400+ running at 2.48 Ghz and 166 mhz FSB instead of the standard 2.0 Ghz 133 mhz FSB. The most important thing to me is overclocking the FSB, without raising the cpu speed. This would mean setting the multiplier down to 12, but the multiplier is locked so I can't do that. Now, I've heard about some bioses that allow you to change the multiplier. So I was wondering if (and hoping that) maybe one of these kind of bioses exists for my motherboard, allowing me to OC FSB without raising CPU overall speed. If anyone can point me to one of these BIOSes I would be really happy or if anyone could give me some more info on this. My motherboard is an ASUS a7v8x-x using award bios version 14.
