| AMD ATHLON 1333-A1333AMS3C help Pleace HELP!!!I have AMD ATHLON 1333-A1333AMS3C processor and i have one interesting problem.I have bought motherboard GIGABITE with N-FORCE 2 chipset.But since i have this motherboard it don`t recondnize my CPU.When i start my PC it shows UNKNOWN CPU TYPE.And my PC runs twice slow as it was with the old MB.I think that this comes from the UNKNOWN CPU.How can i make my MB recodnize my CPU.And why my pc is that slow?In 3DMARK 2001 i make 1300Points.Do i have to instal some kind of drivers.Can some one help me? |

| Xm.... It's strange....  Cos nForce2 should have backward compatibility... Anyway have you visited Gigabyte's site? It has FAQ list and explains some stuff.... Also your mainboard has the lattest BIOS? You can email Gigabyte support team for info... |

|  Thank you! I tryed some things an I foundout that my MB don`t support CPU`s under 266FSB and that is why that CPU dont work properly.I have one swith on the MB and it matches the cpu but i cant change the multipler end its standart 10X.And with 133FSB hi is 1333MZ.But the interesting thing is that i played a little with the bios setings and found function TURBO for OVERCLOCKERS and i turnedup the cpu V to 7,5%+ and the DIMM and AGP power supply with 0,2V and my PC Is filling allot better.MY PC PERFORMANCE have dubbled.And i`m very happy with it.IN AIDA32 my Athlon has better performance then a 1.7MzCeleron. |
