| I"m having the exact same prblem w/ my Xp3000+ (400 MHZ) A7N8x modo Pny 2x512mb Dual Channel PC2700 GeForce 4 4200 Ti (5700 LE comes in tomorrow) 80 gig Seagate dvd cdrw Mine detects at like 1075 i get change the multipliers and whatnot and it iwll detect it as an XP1800 but then it will either shutdown or not be happy.. if i make the FSB higher than 133 it craps out. I have the jumper for the FSB set right. |

| I just got mine to work. I had a plate between my heatsink and the processor.. pulled that out and everyhting started up no prob. |

| just a plate to disperse the heat evenly across the heatsink..i don't have a type or anything, but it has slots cut out to avoid contact w/ the components on top of the chip, i didn't even think of that when i put the new chip in that the surfaces were done. but its been up and running now for like 6 hours and everything seems to be great. |
