Which is a better and faster2500 Barton or the 2600??

Hey all which one of these is a better faster or better overclocker the barton 2500 or the 2600xp?? I have both bought the barton because I thought my 2600 was messed up and it wasnt. I have been told that the 2500 barton overclocked the 3000. but I was just wondering which is the best?? Thanks

In theory the extra 256KB or L2 cache should tend to favour the Barton. Then there's the OC'ability. However, in practice there doesn't seem to be a huge difference. There's also the issue of price. If they're about the same price, I would take the Barton. If the 2600 is cheaper, then I would go that way.

Barton hands down is a better CPU..runs cooler and just as fast ramps speeds well..and a little more boost
