I love Nvidia and they know how to make chips better than even Intel right now. If they make an AMD CPU chipset, I will but it! Check this out:

When they do figure out that southbridge problem I'm sure they'll be blowing VIA right out of the water.
Or should I say - CRUSH them?

It'll be good to have competition for AMD chipsets - the consumer will reap the benefits and finally get a good chipset. It's about time.

Once thet get rid of the gremlins I'll be looking real hard at buying one.

I mentioned this before but IMHO the best thing for us is to have a second party design the chipsets, ie: Via-Amd, that way they will just make the best chipset possible (in theory) for the targeted Cpu, without concern for holding the performance down so as not to effect the sales of their next Cpu, ie: P3-P4. I still think Intel intentionally held back on the 815 looking ahead to Willamette and Northwood. However that being said speed has to balance with stability, Via 2 years ago was a real nightmare.

What I mean with my theory is that if Nvidia builds a P3 chipset and it kicks ***, I don't think that they will care if it hurts P4 sales.....
