| Let me expose my ignorance OK, are kt133a chipsets made by amd or via? The are ddr capable right? And amd puts out the new 760 chipset, is that their answer to nvidia's nforce chipset? Are these of comparable performance?

| Randy this may be the bind leading the blind but I have recently done quite a bit of research on the AMD products...thinking of jumping ship. The KT133A is a VIA chipset and it only supports SDRAM...AMD 760 is considered by most to be the best DDR chipset out there right now...But the VIA boards with SDRAM come within about 10-15% of the AMD 760's performance with the current series of motherboards that are available. A new series of 760 and other chipset manufacturers' motherboards will be available in mid to late August. Hope this helps.
