| Mobile XP-M 2600+ Mobile XP-M 2600+ Barton Core CPU - AXMG2600FQQ4C Question - is this CPU worth getting over the Mobile 2500+? i've heard a lot of good things about the Mobile 2500+ but i can get a good deal on the 2600+? is there that much of a difference? Also, this should run fine in a A7n8X-E-Deluxe board?

| The 2500+ or 2600+ mobiles are very good. Very little difference in performance (if any) when you overclock. I'd buy which ever you get the best deal on. They will run fine on the A7N8X Deluxe board. For an overclocking machine, definitely get one of the mobile chips over the other's you listed.

The mobiles run on 133 fsb, while the Barton cores use 166 or 200. This provides lots of headroom to raise the fsb while overclocking. The mobiles have an unlocked multiplier, newer Barton multiplier is locked. The ability to adjust the multiplier helps overclocking. and yes the mobiles run at a lower voltage, so will normally run cooler while overclocking.

| If you can get a good deal, you may want to try the mobile 2400+ 35W. My friend just got one of these chips and they are amazing, they run on lower voltage and use less wattage than most other Athlon Mobiles. We were able to get up to 2.5GHZ with this thing!
