Is bios memory frequency setting at 100%?

nah it was on SPD or watever and i got told to change it to auto, no difference should i try 100 %?

Your front side bus is running at 100 according to cpu-z. It should be 133. You said you had it set to 166. My guess is that there is a FSB jumper on that board that is set to 200 and needs to be set to 266. Take a look for that.

ok i put the memorey frequency to 100 % and set the fsb to 133 then 166 with no difference it still comes up as a amd athlon(tm) 1.050gig.

lol, i think i got it this switch off

OFF: FORCE 100mhz (supports the 200mhz FSB CPU_
ON:Auti (133/166/200mhz, supports 266/333/400mhz, FSB cpu,default)

Nothing he is doing in the bios is actually changing anything for real. It's stuck on 100 FSB. All nForce boards I've used have a FSB jumper. If that jumper is set to 100 FSB, then changing FSB settings in the bios with be useless.

ok i got it, check the pics..still comes up as a amd athlon mp tho doesnt reallly bother me. Would it make a difference which slots i put the ram in? cause i got 2 red slots and in the middle a purple, i've got the ram sticks on both red slots atm.

How cpu-z recognizes it really means nothing. To make use of the dual channel memory feature (if your mobo supports it and I think it does) the memory should be in slot 1 & 3 or 2 & 3. I expect that means one red and one purple. That will provide better memory performance.
