New Asus A7N8X-Deluxe new boot - hang! can't enter bios!

This is one of my friend problem, I can't help either, new board, new set up, CPU AMD Athlon XP2400+, 2x 256mb TwinMos PC3200 DDR400, Leadtek 128mb Ti4200 8x Display Card, sound use on board, and first time boot up enter bios halfway hang, and reboot second time enter bios hang again, sereval times same action same things happen, double chk those hardware whether properly plug in, eveything seems ok? just need some assistance....

try this. set the cpu_fsb jumper to the 100Mhz setting rather than the 133/166 setting. clear cmos in accordance with manual. then report. see if you are able to get through.

same thing happened to me all I did is switch the ram , then boot and update bios then put back the twinx 32000LL and it worked , for some reason the old bios version didn't like my corsair ram if your ram is corsair try what I did
