Suggest a bare-bones AMD system for $300

My colleague is looking for a bare-bones AMD system for $300 or less. The system must include:

Case
P/S
Motherboard
CPU w/HSF
512MB memory

What's the best combo he can get for $300 and where can/should he get it?

for $99 more you can get a full E-machine with monitor, speakers, color printer at Best Buy ($399 after rebates). It all depends on what the plans are for this machine...

I know its more than $300, but it is less than $400 and it comes with Farcry. It also has a decent CPU heatsink so you can probably OC the CPU fairly easily...

Not to mention its pretested and shipped so its much less of a hassle.

you can get case, Soyo motherboard, power supply, cd drive, kb, mouse and speakers for $40 I think

I don't really know much about those soyo dragon boards....so you'll proly want to look em up
