| temp. sensor problem with Asus A7V333 ok my friend had a XP 1800+ (1.5GHz) processor on his A7V333 with PC3200 ram (running at 266mhz fsb) i popped in my XP 2400+ (2GHz) processor, adjusted the bios appropriately, and fsb is at 266, and cpu is reading in wcpuid as 2GHz. but in the bios the temp is like high 50s C, and in Asus Probe (which did not come with the board, i just downloaded it and installed it) it is at 40 C even (104 F) and hasn't budged...which one is the right one? we're using the stock heatsink/fan that came with his XP 1800+ (looks small). |
