Why cant I OC on the A7n8x dlx

Hey all Im trying to oc my 2600 on a a7n8x dlx. I have the lastest bios and all drivers are up to date. I cant get to 171x12.5 and be ok. But anything higher than that and windows starts to load gets to the desktop and then it reboot. Everyone told me at first it was the pc2700 memory and to upgrade. I have since gone to pc3200 and for a little bit got to 175 and now I cant get above 171. What could be the problem and how do I fix it.. Is it this damn board and should I goto a via chip set or stay with the nforce2 and go to epox or abit or even msi? Any help would be great I have been fighting this damn board for 2 months now and not very happy. Also the bios sets my memory at 7,4,4,3t and 100%, vdimm is at 2.8, vcore 1.775 and apg vol is at 1.5. Also to add to this I can boot into windows xp pro in safe more at 175x12.5 but not normal mode

can you please try with your fastest ram by set multi*fsb = 11*200 so it work?

ps increase a bit voltage for your cpu only
so if it work go next step to 11.5*200 ---> work ----> 12*200

what is your original multiplier and fsb for your cpu?
i try to everclock my system and i was unable to do to many things..max fsb was 146 from 133...a lot of people they can do more...sometimes 200 or more..depends how lucky you are...each motherboard and cpu are different...sometimes they run faster..sometimes not..
