An electronic device does sometimes break...it is a fact of life. I have ran my Mobile Barton for a long time at 3200+ speeds and I don't see a problem. I walk all over my buddies 2.4 P4 Oc'd to 2.9 all day, and I don't really see my chip exploding any time soon.

Why I hate intel my p4 2.4 runs to 60's even without an overclock just surfing the net I tried relapping the P4 with no luck. My Barton is overclocked to 2.3 and runs at 40's even under full load. The barton seriously kicks the p4s *** too. I havnt even bothered to install extra fans I have laying around for it. I have thoght of trying a diffrent P4 but I would end up spending more just on the new processor than I did for the barton and MB.

Stock heat sink. It probibily could use another good cleaning. It is not the 2.4c but an older version I used to leave the case open and I did not have a problem so ventilation could be part of the problem. Ether way it generates a lot of heat. Mine just makes more than most. No i dont hate Intel just a phrase I would not mind getting one at all if the prices were a little lower.

So because you overclocked a processor and burned it up you want to blame that on AMD?

Sounds kind of childish.

AMD Never told you to overclock their processor.
