I've had my Celeron 400@606 2.3V for over a year on my old BF6. The CUSL2 will only allow my to move the voltage to 2.05. I tried 2 mobo's with 2 different Cel 400's with exactly the same result - it refuses to go past the first boot screen (one with press 'del' to enter bios)

I can't even go higher than 2.05V when the Cel is left at 400!

Bios is 1003 (just noted 1006b so will give that a try)

IBM GXP75 30 gig

ASUS CD-s500

Hey Wam, that exactly what happened yesterday when I play with my friend's old Celeron 400. he said it could do 500MHz@83MHz, so I want to see how much higher the CUSL2 can do, 450@75MHz. The alarm would always goes off when I increase the voltage. On the other hand, I got 600MHz@100 2.3V in my Abit VT6X4 which I use a Celeron 300A@450,100MHz that can kick the CUSL2 butt.

Mine can manage 500 @ 2.05V. It can even boot into Win at 600 but doesn't stay there too long as it needs the extra juice.

Hopefully this is something that should be fixed with a Bios update. I'll try the new one and see if that works.

If that doesn't work I've sent a few emails to Asus tech... lets just hope they can do it soon!

I've got a Globalwin FDP32 with YS-tech 26 CFM fan. I've also got a 120mm YS-tech 135CFM intake and 2 80mm exhaust. The celeron ran fine at 600 2.3V without any case cooling either.

The default voltage for the Celeron ppga is 2.0V, so if you got your's to 600 at that voltage you should mark the lotto as your one lucky s.o.b ;-)

It's definitely nothing to do with the speed/temp of the processor. I've tried the latest bios (1006 b3) and still the same.

I'll just have to wait for the Asus tech guys to come up with a solution.

After I found that I couldnt get my Celeron 400 no higher than 600 stable, I thought I would buy a Celeron II 600. which is O/C to 945 at 1.80v... Ive had it at a 1Ghz at 2v, but It's not stable at that yet, I think it needs more burning in, and the highest voltage is 2.05v, funny, the same has the Celeron 400. Oh well nevermind.
This also has a Alpha PEP66U Heatsink and fan....

I think its a good Heatsink and fan....

I have got some pics of my Celeron II, with heatsinks and fan and the Geforce DDR... I am just waiting for them to come back... So when I get them, I will be happy to show anyone.........
