E6750 versus E6600

Anyone care to venture an opinion on why Newegg would be selling the E6750 for $45 less than the older and slower E6600? They both seem to be "on sale". Is the 6600 known for a much better overclock?

Re: E6750 versus E6600

Which better E6600 or E6750???

Also, today or tomorrow the E8xxx (Penryn) series is apparently being made available. The E8400 will be about the same price as the E6750.

Regards,
