Execute disable is the ability to tag memory pages as containing only non-executable data. Which means the CPU will never try to execute data fetched from those pages, which is good protection against a subset of buffer overflow bugs and the exploits that try to use them. I'd keep it enabled.

IDLES now, after PC is running for some time 43C

Room temp: 26C

260GTX overclocked 710/1485/1270 IDLES at 46C...load around 57C
