My 800EB@918 is at 51 C att full load and at idle it is at 38 C. Isn't this a bit high? At the original setting(800) it is almost att the same temp(a couple of degrees lower)
Is this temperature harmfull to the chip?(the motherboard is at a constant 32C)

My specs:
800EB@918 153:153:38 3,2,2
256 mb Mushkin
Leadtek Geforce 2 32mb
2 chassi fans
Golden Orb CPU cooler with thermal paste
......and so on..............

51C full load is not dangerous, but it is high unless your in the middle of the desert! You should be in the low 40's with an aftermarket HSF. I've never used an "Orb", but that's the type of temp I was getting when running my 700@933 with a retail HSF. With my Alpha pal35 @1015, I'm at a full load temp of 41C. Your HSF may not be installed correctly, perhaps not flat to the CPU core. You may wish to try reinstalling your HSF with arctic silver paste and try lowering those temps a bit.

Cool

Hmm... yea those temps are abit high for that litle ocing step.

Oki, I admit that your fsb is high but still you shouldn't get temps like that.

My temps are= idle: 30-31, load: 45-47.
Room temp when measuring=25-27.

Ohh... I got a Global Win FOP32.

Been thinking of changing the cooler to a - ALPHA PEP66T rev.2 + a Copper Shim + Arctic Silver thermal compound.

My cpu is a p3-700e @ 952MHz with vcore @ 1,80 but I want more out of it.

I managed to lower my temps by modifying the air-flow and polishing the coolers surface(lapped) + aplaying high performance thermal compound.

This lowered the temps about 6-9 degr

Hope this helps some!

Have it good!
