| Intel's 45nm possible in H1 2007?? Intel pulls 45 nanometre chips into 1H 07 Inquirer reports that it may be possible for Intel to pull their 45nm process technology products by 6(!)+ months from the original date. I don't know what they are planning, but they certainly will be dominating performance-wise having a 3.5GHz+ product dual cores in Q1 2008 based on the 45nm. Well if a 45nm slightly higher clocked version comes at early-mid 2007, it might not be the wisest thing to do financially. |

| just finished a new p5k-deluxe build and it's a screamer. wow! only took me 14 hours from start to finish. but of course now that i've got it up and running and loaded with all the programs and it works smoothly and i've done all the blackviper tweaks, etc., i'm ready to take it back apart and clean up the wiring and air flow. but it's sooooo quiet and cool already.... started the bookwork for the project in march, finally pulled the trigger with newegg (all the way!) two weeks ago, unloaded the boxes last tuesday and had it singing monday afternoon. ![]() but now i'm looking for bios tweaks (i upgraded the bios from the original 202 to 501, to eliminate an "Intel CPU ucode" error, apparently in booting the e6750). anybody have some bios ideas for me? i've tried a couple from mushkin but they didn't work; i'll have to check out some more. and how about Asus' N.O.S. -- i've read mixed reviews about it. my new specs: Asus P5K-deluxe wifi, C2D-E6750, Mushkin 2X1G DDR2 1066 (with the Micron D9s), two Seagate 7200.10 320GBs, Lite-On 20-X and Pioneer 18-X burners, Asus X1950Pro-256 video, Corsair 520HX psu, SB X-fi XtremeGamer, all in a Lian-Li A16B box (with three 120mm fans). looks spiffo too. like the black. nice finish. R.Bull
