Re: rampage extreme

Does cost about 300 Euro here in austria.

Some of its features do look interresting (eSata, PCI, PCIe, SATA, watercooler, etc.) some of them would be to much for me (i only do very basic overclocking).

Greetings

Dru

Available only in Europe ATM and specifically two stores in the UK.

As mentioned, expensive. Way more than the $289 I paid for my Rampage Formula.

So, ....

Did you get a Rampage Extreme?

I would have been an owner of a Rampage Extreme myself today if it didn't take so long to get to the sales shelf. I couldn't wait. That's why I have the Rampage Formula. Very nice board the Rampage Formula. So it makes me wonder how the Rampage Extreme is.

Sorry to hear you're not getting one soon. It's a nice motherboard.

I'm looking forward to seeing and reading your building thread. I've looked at some Asus Rampage Extreme building threads and yes, just like any MB, it has its unique and interesting building idiocyncracies.

Before you can finish the sentence "Yes i am truly satisfied with my rig" after fiddling around with configuration and installation to make the best of your hardware, there's something new on the market you can drool over.

Same for the processor and graphiccard market.

Greetingss

Dru

P.S.: Yes, i'd like to have one of those. And three of the latest graphiccards please. Yes this one .... ah, i mean that one ....no, no, That one .... maybe i'll come back tomorrow? Can i have an "automatic upgrade abo option" please? Someone upgrading my rig overnight an a weekly cycle maybe?
