| Screen refresh is slow in the BIOS and DOS (Text Mode) I have an Asus P5B Deluxe Mainboard and GeForce 8800GTS. Since Ive had it, the screen refresh rate is very slow. This never happened on any of my previous PC's. For example if you boot up in DOS and type dir, the screen scrolls down slowly while it draws the text on the screen. Same thing when the PC Posts and shows the cpu speed, HDD's, USB devices etc.. I think it happened on my 7900GS with the same mainboard as well. When it boots Windows, everything is fine. Its as if nVidia removed the acceleration for text mode 80x25, or the BIOS ignores VGA acceleration or something. Anyone else notice this?
