What happens if u finish a WU outside the specific timeframe?
cos i am at 306/400, and it says it has 24hours and 20mins to go but the time to finish is before that

Are you talking about the set deadlines to finish a wu, or EM's projected finish time?

edited for typos.. oops

If it doesn't meet the final deadline , you won't get credit (you may get partial credit?).

Since you're already so far along with it, I'd let it finish and see what happens.

Actually, I think that Stanford gives you points for turning in work units. They didn't used to but they have changed their policy. The problem is that if the results are sent back too late, they will delete the work unit because their work is time sensitive, but if I remember correctly, they will still give you points.

Well the reason why i started is cos i went to a funeral the other day...it was for a great man who has been friends with my dad for over 50 years, and he was like a 2nd dad to me. It got me thinking when i saw some posts about folding that maybe i can do something to make a difference, even if it is only small cos i have only 1 computer.

Mines bin running about 12 hours and is 36/400. Is that good or bad?

Dennis - I tried the CUSL2 link but it seems broken. Can you offer any other help please?

[EDIT] Link now working. I've got the "gen".
You just have to add you name to the last thread > Here < Then you will have to change the "client" in your FAH folder to read User Name = Team-CUSL2 Be sure to wait till the last WU is finished, then use CTRL/C to close it properly. Change the client and it should show you are Folding for Team-CUSL2 now.

I believe you get all the points you would get for that WU and time it took you. But at the deadline date if F@H doesn't get that WU back they assume you lost it and so give it out to another folder. They do need it done.

We slipped to 15th place.

We need more Buds!

The two teams below us have more cpu's than we do. What happened?

I'll be there soon now. This first WU is now at 88%. I'll change the Client details right after this one finishes!
