F@H: Attempting to get work packet...

For the last couple of days, my WinFAH client has been "Attempting to get work packet". Is there something wrong with the servers, or is it me?

It depends on what server you are trying to connect to. Sometimes they go offline for a short while.

Sometimes you have to shutdown the client and start it back up so that it will connect to a different server.

I've tried closing/reopening and I still get the same: "Could not connect to Work Server"
Any ideas?

"no other work to do"??? WHAT!?!?

On a few of my clients I have had to run FAH with the -configonly flag and reset options. Changing the option to use IE settings from Yes to No was all I had to do.

Not sure if you are configured that way or not, but worth a shot.

I have had to go to FAH folder and delete the work folder, the queue, and the FAHlog-Prev on different occasions to get it to download a work packett.

Thanks for the input everyone. I figured it out. I had it set to get "Deadlineless" work units. I changed it to "No Preference" and it downloaded a work unit.
