Exclamation Folding banner not on front page anymore?

I thought we used to have a folding banner on the front page that linked to this forum's first sticky? We need more folders - can we put it back??

TIA!

Must have been lost in that front page mess a few weeks ago.

Re: Folding banner not on front page anymore?

Exactly right...I used to have access to fix that, but recent changes no longer allow me at it. I don't think the admins here are the quite the hackers that CJ was...

Re: Folding banner not on front page anymore?

Does anybody have a copy of the banner saved? Could you post it?

I'm not doing very good here...I know they're around, just have to dig them up.

Re: Folding banner not on front page anymore?

Try this one:

Folding@home links, howtos, etc.

Thank you for working on this for us!

I'm sure the regular one we had will show up after someone digs it up. But having something will sure work for now...

Re: Folding banner not on front page anymore?

I found it!
This was the one we were using before it got wiped off the front page.
It would still be nice to be able to change them up also if that is possible.

I found it here: ABXZone Computer Help Forums

Re: Folding banner not on front page anymore?

Nice getting them off archive.org. I made the animated banner and a couple of the static ones, but I think they got lost on some screwed up HDD somewhere.

I don't have the access to get you a proper one, but I can do something until it gets fixed.

Interesting. If you go to the archive.org page, and then go to the "Latest Forum Topics" column on the right hand side of the page there, and then go to one of the threads with a long thread name, the mouse over titles appear so that one can read the entire thread name.

I hate to admit this, but these days many times I don't click on threads because I can't read the whole thread title on the Front Page. If what shows on the Front Page is enough to read then I'll go to the thread.

When will the thread title mouseovers work again?
