| Okay, this is the first time I've ever tried to fold on any of my computers so this may sound n00bish but here goes...I just got my first Gromac and under WU End: It says that this gromac will be done in 52 Days 1 hour 57 minutes...Is this right??? Good god! here is the gromac label: p854_p53dimer854 GROMACS Core Is it really going to take this long or is this just a really bad estimate by the F@H Client?

| I reinstalled my OS yesterday after having too many difficulties with sp2 but before I did that I paused f@h and copied the directory to a different partition, then after the reinstall I just pasted it back in and it fired up as if I had'nt changed anything ![]()

| Seems it's better for FAH to run only one unit on a HTed P4. From Vijay Pande himself: http://forum.folding-community.org/v...?p=82449#82449

| According to Vijay Pande, it is better for science to run with protein only on P4 machines that have processors that support HT. But, if we are folding for points, then it is okay to fold with 2 consoles at the same time.

| It could be better because the proteins fold faster with just one console running and they would get the results back faster.
