Finally got my work PC folding (although it is only a 1Ghz Ath). I have been using the Graphical int version on my home network; so I will have to change over to the command line version for them too!

Talking El Foldo

First machine online.

I'm testing the response and whatnot here.

Possibly 19 more available...but I wouldn't bet on it. I'm the admin, but not the owner so I can't make that call alone.

I really only joined so I could say "Fold this!"

That and if I cook my processor I can get a better one...lol Just kidding.

Congrats - Welcome SuperG!

Don't worry - folding will never cook your CPU. It won't harm your computer in any way.

If you set up folding as a service run in the background on the computers you admin, it won't even be noticeable. We'll be happy to help out - anything to get more folding power for Asusboards!

Just joined the fold. Running as a service via fireservice. I'll be adding my other system shortly as well as three systems at work.

Folding

I have 3 computers one is an AMD xp at 2.2 gig, the second is AMD XP at 1.866 gig and the third is a AMD XP at 1.533 gig. Will these make a worthwhile contribution to the team? I am in RC5-72 cracking right now but I can stop and goto fold instead. Someone please let me know if my PC's will help.

Thanks,

Dave

Dave, those systems could really help us out in the fold. I hope you do decide to join us, you would be a great asset to our team!

Folding

I quit RC5-72 cracking and joined the folding team. Im still new to the team but we will see what impact I have. Im adding a 4 computer that will be an AMD Barton at 1.83 gig and higher if I can overclock it.
