QMDS temporarily offline

Per this thread at the Folding Community:
http://forum.folding-community.org/v...d8718b0#121221

They said a couple of weeks, but I'm sure they will take a lot longer. This will bring down the PPW for P4 machines that were folding QMDs 24/7 for the past year. Hopefully when they release them again, they will fold on A64 machines.

That stinks, my Xeon was racking up the points with the QMD's, and my P4 hasn't had one in like 2 weeks.

Yep, it would be nice for A64s to be able to use them. So much for the only lead the P4s had...

LOL SupDawg, the bulk of my folding farm are stil P4's. I did add an AMD X2 recently but it has an aversion to large work units for some reason.

I just setup my Xeon system again on Saturday to fold QMDs. It folded about 2 QMDs until they got taken offline. Luckily I installed the Xeon system in my 2nd case. I will shut this system down for a couple of weeks and use the opteron system again for folding until the QMDs come back online.

I was doing 4 QMDs at a pop -- that's how I came up so fast. Now I have a couple gromacs and some low-point gbgromacs. What's with those dogs?
