same core but running at two different speeds???

I have one console and one GUI going. Both are running the P2124 and started within a couple hours of each other. The GUI version will be done in about 12 hours while the console one won't be done until the 15th. Every other core has folded about close to the same speed. Is there any reason why it is so far of this time?

Maybe you were using the puter more this time around?

Hehe...quit using it and let it fold!

From my EMIII log, there can be a difference between each run and generation. So each work unit you are getting is not the exact same as the same protein that you got before.

Go into task manager and check to see if both Fahcore executables show 50% CPU utilization.

What are the folding times per frame for the gui client and text console according to EMIII?

The time per frame according to the GUI is 12 seconds but it says 20,000 frames. The tiem per frame for the console is 1 hour 19 minutes but it says 100 frames. Both are folding P2124_lambda_5way_melt_4_10011.

If both work units per task manager are showing 50% CPU Utilization, then the folding time per frame(complete stepping) should be around 46 minutes. 1 hour and 19 minutes is a little too high per frame. I'm getting 46 minutes per frame according to EMIII on my Folding Rig.

BTW, are both Fahcore**.exe show 50% utilization within task manager under the processes?
