What happend h20-ski???

DBoone is on my back now as I'm getting some low point SMP-GROMACS that take forever to fold. Plus I have to shut down FAH in order to play Supreme Commander - occasionally I forget to start it back up b/4 going to bed and don't realize it's off till I get back from work the next day, guess I better write a batch file to fix that!

Re: Toot your horn here.

Very nice!

I had to take my wife's laptop off the folding -- it was just getting way too hot. After 2+ years of folding, though, I think it deserves a rest...

I agree with that. My points per day has gone up big time since folding with the SMP client.

Re: Toot your horn here.

I don't think I'll start folding again till the windows SMP client comes out of beta (geez, I mean, come on already - get it fixed!). On the plus side, I'm thinking of getting a 45nm Quad when the less expensive ones come out and would be pumping out more points/day. We'll see...

I read on the Folding forum that the windows SMP will not come out of beta status for a long time, but they believe that the current client is stable enough that they will make the expiration date a little longer. The current client is supposed to expire tonight at 12am. They should be releasing a new version later today.

Maybe I'll try it out this weekend. I am running SP3, which could be a deal breaker, dunno about that.

XJ the current client is very stable on all of my current servers and desktops.
The point production is great!

There are some annoying bugs, but I'm getting around them and yes, the point output is great!
