Hey guys
ive been out of the loop folding wise, for 3 years or so
Im running a graphics console and a text console, im using -local and -advmethods in the target field. My problem is WU's crashing, ive been back folding almost a week and nothing has completed

Ive been getting P44** alot and also P26** alot. Any tips or hints would be appreciated.

Glad to have you back folding again.

You need a dual core CPU to run both a graphics console and text console together. The graphics console will utilize both the video card and the CPU when folding. Try folding with either only a graphics console or just the text console to see if you can finish work units.

Heya VSEKH
i stopped the text console yesterday bcos the WU was only 19/100 complete and left the graphics one running, and it completed overnight but hasnt updated my score yet.

I have a dual core CPU, i was always able to run 2 instances back in the old days, so was thinking it was a settings thing or something cos of the new kind of WU's

I looked at your signature and noticed you had a Pentium4. You should be able to fold a single text console with a graphics console. Make sure the text console and the graphics console are both using 50% of the CPU load within task manager under the process tab. You might have to add the -local option for the text console if it does not utilize the CPU load properly.
