| Antec Skeleton Case Prototype Interesting looking "case". The mainboard is mounted on an exposed tray with the power supply and drives housed below it. Sitting on top is a low RPM 250mm fan. AnandTech - Computex 2008 Preview: Antec Skeleton Case Prototype

| Re: Antec Skeleton Case Prototype Although it's not necessarily my cup of tea, it's nice to see a company "thinking outside the box".

| Re: Antec Skeleton Case Prototype Since the PSU and hard drives are mounted from the back side of mobo, as opposed to ordinary way, I wonder about the length of cables. While the design is interesting, it is not original, since this idea has been seen somewhere long ago. Once I did the same approach, but found it inconvenient with drives, and mor important, dust will collect on the board quite fast. It is convenient for playing around with parts. But, we need a PC for work, or play games, not for spending time on plug in/out parts. Perhaps this is good for those who test different parts.

| Re: Antec Skeleton Case Prototype The wiring issue can be managed but it is easier to just hide it in a case ... if you have one available. I made an open style case for this build since I was constantly changing the configuration. New Intel Little Valley build I'm actually in the process of building the 2nd revision for the server it has become.

| Re: Antec Skeleton Case Prototype Yeah, these are nice for benching or test setups, but they're most likely going to be cheaper to make yourself (there's not much to them).
