Front Audio to Motherboard connections...

I'm trying to connect the Front Audio ports (Headphones and microphone jacks) to the motherboard, but the markings on the cables don't match up with the motherboard connections.

My motherboard has these connections:
1 PORT1_L
2 AUD_GND
3 PORT1_R
4 PRESENCEJ
5 PORT2_R
6 SENSE1_RETURN
7 SENSE_SEND
8 EMPTY (KEY???)
9 PORT2_L
10 SENSE2_RETURN

and my front panel has these connections:

Speaker Out L
Return L
Return R
Mic in
Speaker out R
Ground
Mic Bias

I can figure out where the ground goes, but thats about it? Any suggestions?

Motherboard is Foxconn 925A01-8EKRS2, if that helps.

Thanks

Rob

I would try this as a first guess:

1 PORT1_L <-----------------------> Speaker Out L
2 AUD_GND <-----------------------> Ground
3 PORT1_R <-----------------------> Speaker out R
4 PRESENCEJ
5 PORT2_R <-----------------------> Return R
6 SENSE1_RETURN <--------------> Mic in
7 SENSE_SEND <------------------> Mic Bias
8 EMPTY (KEY???)
9 PORT2_L <------------------------> Return L
10 SENSE2_RETURN

but i found that on the FAQ page from Foxconn

Mic In to MIC (pin1)
Mic Pwr to MIC_VCC (pin3)
MGND to AGND (pin2: all ground, microphone ground)
HP OUT -R to R_OUT (pin5)
HP OUT R to FR_OUT (pin6)
HP OUT -L to L_OUT (pin9)
HP OUT L to FL_OUT (pin10)

Hope this helps.

Greetings

Dru

Drufus,

Thank you so much for posting this. I was finally able to get my foxconn 6150BK8MC front audio connector to work with the "first guess" you posted for the pinout. I couldn't find this information anywhere else! Thank you!!!!
