| OCZ 520Watt Power Stream Light Status Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if someone can provide me with some first hand experience on the colour of the voltage rail lights on the back of the PS/U. Mine came out of the box with the little sticker over the dials, but the 3 lights all appear to be the yellowish colour. The light legened in the manual mentions Red is Overvoltage Yellow is Undervoltage Green is right in spec with what it is suppose to be. I thought the lights could possibly be green, but I tried to turn the dials up a bit to see if the light changed in colour, but it stayed the yellowish colour. The Speed Fan Software I am using seems to report the rails within spec, but the LED's on the PS/U just don't seem to be the same colour as the pictures I compare it to on the internet. Does anyone have any comments on this? Thanks Fin

| great psu. I have that PSU and I am looking at the lights now and I would say that they are a "Yellow...Greenish color." The color is not as green as the green the fan LED's. When I adjust the POTS it does turn colors per you post above. Great PSU I think you will like it. I modded it a little to make it more compatible with my system. Oh, don't turn the dials with the while your system is on. Power down, make changes and then power it up. If you do so while it is on you could damage the mobo and or related componets.

| I have the 600 watt version of this PSU which has the same voltage indicator lights as the 520 watt version. The lights are green with a very slight yellow tint. I guess I have been lucky but I have made voltage changes (using power supplies that had internal voltage adjustments) with the system on for many years with no problem. After installing my current PSU the first thing I did was to use a digital multimeter to fine tune the voltages with the PSU under load in the system. I think you will be safe to make these adjustments with the PSU in the computer as long as the voltage remains within + or - 5%.
