| I use AOpen cases - one for Abit BE6 and one for CUSL2C and I find them very well built. These cases are reasonably priced, look good and come with high quality switching 250W (midtower) or 300W (full tower) PSUs. Go into at AOpen's website at www.aopen.com to check it out. |

| Antec Performance Series. Great cases and good power supplies too. One of the better ventilated cases you can buy and attractive as well. I love my SX830! Their page has links to reviews too. http://www.antec-inc.com/product/cases/perfhome.html You can find them for much less than suggested retail on the web.

| case for cusl2xxx Hello DL: When selecting your case I think you should take into consideration that the cusl2xx mobo has some functions that many case makers do not even know exist. After getting my case and motherboard together, I was disappointed to find that the case had no connections for the locking function found on the cusl2xx mobo. I also later discovered that the power supply, though 300 watts and very reliable, actually did not have the minimum 2.0 amps available on the +5.0 volt lead used to power the machine back up from the various standby and hybernate modes. Although my case has two locations for intake/exhaust fans, they are mounted inside plastic boxes that attach to the case frame. While this does have the advantage of not having to use screws, the disadvantage is that I am limited to 80mm fans or smaller. In short, I recommend you study the functions available on your cusl2xx mobo, then find the case that will: have good air circulation, good fan positioning, multiple fan locations, and a good power supply (I, like others on our forum, have found Enermax to fit our needs, especially for quitness, heat/fan control, and voltage requirements). Then, there are many, who after they get their case, modify it using saws, plexiglass, flouresant lights and on and on. Good luck and be smart. |

| I agree with pbeyer, I love my Antec SX830. It is very roomy and I have had no problems with my PS. It is true the SX830 uses the plastic fan brackets, so you are limited to 5 80mm case fans (3 in front and 2 back) but it seems to be plenty (so far) I highly recommend the Antec SX830 w/300 watt PS.

| So far ANTEC rules! Read the reviews folks. The Performance Series cases from Antec are ideal for the enthusiast and overclockers. These things are built like brick ***** houses too! 1.0cm cold rolled steel! Assembling a new system in one is easy. I use the Antec low flow fans and it's real quiet that way, but if you really want this case to really cool get the highest CFM 80mm fans you can find. I bet your case temp never gets more than 1C over your ambient room temp. Forget the dremel and hours of modding a case to get good ventilation, this case can do it right out of the box. |

| I have the Antec SX1240 full tower. Great case! Good air flow. My case stays around 3f above ambient. I also have the mid tower Antec SX840. I put a Enermax 431 in the tower, it did come with a Antec 400 PS, put it in another case. Antec PS are good. I'd go for the 400 watt. It has the connectors for the new ddr mobos. Hey did I hear someone say ''Antec Rules''? |

| So it's looking like "Antec Rules", thanks for the responses all. The more I look into cases and cooling I realize I know even less. It looks like the sx830 has room for 5 fans is this correct? When you usually buy a case, does it come with a fan or two or am I gonna need to buy a bunch? I guess I'll save the heat sink/ thermal paste questions for another thread. -Rookie |
