| 316FSB vs 230FSB I have a AMD 2x 4200+ and it will run at either 8*316fsb or 11*230 both are 2.53ghz. I only have ddr400 and it will only do ddr420. Im not sure what would be better to run all the time. Max temp is 52C. |

| Thing you can do to decide what works best for you is to run benchies like eg SuperPI to test ram speed, 3dmarks/Aquamark to check synthetic game speed. All depends on ram , CPU , settings. have you tried eg I run at the moment with a divider 300 X 9 DDR 333 divider so ram at 245 real. It gave me the best overal scores lowest in SuperPi and highest in Aquamark benchies. Testing is the only thing you can do .... I would watch that temp, I prefer to stay below 50°C to keep it safe are you still using the boxed cooler ? do you have good case ventilation ? have you tried 250 x 10 with a DDR333 divider and tight ram timings ? What voltage is required to run it at this speed ?
