| ASUS A8N-SLI Premium motherboard wierdness...... ASUS A8N-SLI Premium motherboard wierdness...... It has dual video cards and an Opty processor. After MANY HOURS of BANGING HEAD ON WALLS trying to comprehend why My Son was having booting & NON booting issues. He even called ASUS "tech support" he told them it sounded like a possible ground issue and was getting ready to RMA this Motherboard.  Last night I looking at this POS and it would boot ONE TIME after clearing the CMOS after that ...no boot. I noticed that he had a SMALL SCREW in the video card that hid the COMS jumper and the other video card had the larger screw. I replaced the SMALL SCREW with a standard larger screw and tightened it down so it was snug. NO MORE NON-BOOTING ISSUES!!!!!!!!   |
