Which Mombo For X2 4400+

Which mombo for a X2 4400+ build? I don't plan to OC and I don't plan to go crossfire or sli because I will build another PC in 6 months. I need to get the parts ordered for this rig soon so I can get my *** in gear and the more I read the more confused I get, first AMD build. The only parts I have decided on are so far are an X2 4400+, Sapphire x1900xtx and a Lian Li PC-V600B. This rig will be mainly for games so I want a good board so which one? Thanks.

I'm happy with my dfi lanparty Ultra-D but it has a lot of tweaking options you might not need. Can't go wrong with an Asus A8N5X which is probably the best value. It's a solid performer and won't break the bank.

Unless you're going to overclock, they're all pretty much the same. *Gasp*

Motherboard benchmark test: "The Asus got 0.2fps higher than the Gigabyte! Asus win again! Definately worth the extra $100!"

Overclocking is, to some degree at least, a different story.

Features are obviously different, but that'll be according to your needs.

Well if you ask me, I would go for a DFi LanParty nf4 Ultra-D mobo for an AMD setup.....

If you want Crossfire, I would get either of these boards. ASUS A8R-MVP or ABIT AT8 which use the Radeon XPress 1600 aka RD480 chipset, or for Radeon XPress 3200 aka RD580 ASUS A8R32-MVP or ABIT AT8 32X.

A nice NFORCE 4 motherboard would also do the job for you also.
