| Re: My computer is Squealing!!?!?!?!?!?!?! I suspect he's legit. Looks like he might have become a member by virtue of the GenMay merger. I'd suggest looking inside for dust buildup, particularly around the fan bearings. Or, you might have a fan that is simply wearing out. -- Al |

| Re: My computer is Squealing!!?!?!?!?!?!?! Can't you open the case and localize the sound? That would help narrow the possibilities a lot. In any event, squealing is usually either a bad bearing or a bad capacitor. |

| Re: My computer is Squealing!!?!?!?!?!?!?! It's easy to be paranoid with all the new spammers lately, but I have seen for a fact that the Genmay people keep whatever year they joined there. Ditto on a fan likely failing. I had that happen recently with a 120mm. It was very annoying.
