PC Probe II

I am using the latest version with an A8N32-SLI Deluxe. BIOS 1205. Just put a fresh OS install on there and am using the latest Realtek ALC850 driver.

Here is the problem. Whenever I launch PC Probe II it instantly halves the wave volume level. It leaves main volume alone. Why the hell would it be doing this? I can't figure it out and it's very annoying. I am using the latest PC Probe II that I got from their website. Have also tried an older version and it does the same thing.

It does this every time the program is launched.

It does the same thing to me too, and it drives me nuts...if anyone else has a fix for it, I'd love to hear it as well.

Well at least there is someone else seeing this problem. I thought I was the only one. Seriously.

FYI I can confirm this happens regardless of the sound card or driver installed. I went away from the Realtek and right now have an auzentech xplosion installed. Start up PC Probe II and I get the same behavior as I did before.
