Are your temps showing any better with the different drivers? Can you check what they are at load? Is have you any monitoring software, just to confirm temps while 3D is running? If not download RTHDRIBL, and run it with the temperature window open - note this will oinly stress GPU 1.

If its any comfort to you - you're not alone! My cards won't work in SLI at all any more - though they are fine seperately - go figure!

Yeah 3D working fine over here.
But now I have another weird thingie

When I play a DVD or mpeg file I only get the top half of the picture.
Is there a hotfix for this?

I ran Folding at home all night, no problem and just finished running Pi 32M finished complete, Thanks Sierra, seems really stable and fast. I'll install HL2 later today and see how it plays, lots of football today and tommorow so I don't know much I'll get done....

Here's a screenshot of my top video card in sli with a 120mm Coolermaster 1200rpm 42cfm fan blowing on both video cards on the sidepanel window, seems to be working good, the bottom card is a couple of degrees cooler....

Here's a pic of Asus probe at idle, really happy with this stock cooling and the way my case seems to performing, 2x 120mm intake, 1 120mm exhaust, 2x 80mm exhaust...

OMG....you are going to DROP OVER DEAD when you play HL2 on that machine!!! I'm telling you it is the BEST THING I've EVER EXPERIENCED....well maybe not the best

Absolutely, you should be. But I will tell you that switching to the 71.24 beta forceware drivers added 2,000 plus marks from 66.93. Then my oc added the difference. Your board can do the same!

Thanks, I think thats half the fun just planning on everthing you want and trying to get the best price on stuff, I know one thing ABXZone is a great place to learn, and get the the info you need, now onto to football and then some HL2....
