Sorry to go (slightly) off topic here. Does anyone know (or have an opinions about) if an EXOS will be up to the task for an SLI setup? I'm tempted to go for this board with a couple of GT's. Koolance have a new 6800 specific block out that looks very nice and seems like it would fit SLI.

An Exos should work. Many will say you'll get better results with a DIY system. But I think a lot of people underestimate how good the Exos is. I was using a Koolance GPU block and the Exos for a long time. Was very happy with the results.

Zipzoomfly has dropped the price to $219 for this board and still says mid Dec. for delivery, still waiting for Monarch to list it. Asus website now has all the drivers and bios updates listed for the A8N-SLI, can't wait but I've been doing alot of that....

Unfortunately the supply of PCIe video cards is woefully inadequate right now, especially if you want a 6800 GT or Ultra. Also, the prices are pretty outrageous. The board isn't worth much if you can't find the video cards to go with it.

Really? I'm not a premium member. Here's the article. It's very short. Dated 11/12.

"Nvidia has already starting shipping the A02 and A03 versions of its nForce4 PCIe-enabled K8 core logic chipset, stated Drew Henry, general manager of platform business at Nvidia, yesterday during a telephone interview with DigiTimes.

Henry made the remarks in response to market speculation that Nvidia would probably delay shipping the A02 version from November to December, because the chip cannot support HyperTransport (HT) speeds of 1GHz.

Henry said that Nvidia designed the nForce4 A02 version to support AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) 754-pin Athlon 64 CPUs and 800MHz HT. Nvidia is also offering an A03 version of the nForce4 chipset, which supports AMD 939-pin Athlon 64 CPUs and 1GHz HT, Henry added.

Henry affirmed that Nvidia has started delivering both the A02 and A03 versions to its downstream clients."

I had 2XLeadtek6800Gt's delivered today! Went out of stock the day after I ordered them! Bought them for the same sort of price as AGP versions. Interesting thing. On the circuit board it says 256MB, and it's circled. Next to that it says 512MB... Would seem to suggest 512MB is very close?

Still what good are two cards with no PCI-e MB!
