Don't mean to be a pest, but what's the default voltage?

I was looking at those on the AMD website but I didn't see them available anywhere. Now I know (and knowing is half the battle). Those should be some incredible overclocker's. I wonder if he had the Zalman AM2 cooler if that would have helped, since he was using the stock cooler. But getting the overclock he did with voltage that low is sweeet!

I like the line:

We begin with the perhaps more interesting X2 3800+ which at peak power probably consumes less energy than the typical lightbulb.

How about this for good things to come for AMD --> a DFI 590 board. Look at the bandwidth and RAM clocks, posted by Oskar Wu himself.

I was wondering what kind of temps that are being reported with AM2 chips. Using the Asus M2N32-SLI, Speedfan reports the CPU temp at 22-24 idle and a mother board temp of 45-47 when idle. Under load CPU goes up to 32-35 and MB stays at 47. I thought this was kind of low and its been a while since I've used an ASUS board so I installed Asus Probe II and it reported the same temperature results.

Just kind of wondering if all the AM2 chips run this low or does Asus MB's still report a low temp that what it actually is?

Core Temp is the most accurate, download it here.
Quote:
The temperature readings are very accurate as the data is collected from a Digital Thermal Sensor (or DTS) which is located in each individual processing core, near the hottest part.

Thanks, I will try it later this evening. Although those are great temperatures, they are somehow unbelievable.
