3 weeks ago. It's not to good an OCer. On the DFI it will run 2600mhz on stock 1.35vcore. On the A8N32 it'll do 2600Mhz on 1.425vcore. Any thing past 2600 takes tons more volts than I'm wiling to shove to it.

After I'm through playing around and decideing on wich mobo to use it's going to be used for my home server

ok, i got the new cpu in. gonna install winders, then take a nap.

one thing i just found out though that annoys me is the positive dividers; 216, 233, 250 don't work at all. even if you set them the board defaults back to 200. if you go into the bios, the setting is there, it is just not working i need to check my vcore as well, i have 1.15+ 0.2 enabled now

Have you ran a sandra mem bandwidth to see if the score changes with the + dividers? I think CPUz cant report them right.

Man if they dont work, then thats another feature Asus stuck in to sell boards but is broken

i was just going by bandwidth in Memtest, and the post screen lists ram at DDR400mhz.

ALSO,
my freaking ram is bad seriously i am starting to hate computers. this is unbelievable. So who knows maybe my cpu wasn't bad. but the memory tested good on the other cpu. this is incredibly frustrating. edit, wait i have to check my vdimm, it might not be at 2.8. brb
