Finally the problems are gone.

I set Gameport and MIDIport 'enable' and nomore bluescreen.

Installation is done, RAID0 works.

BIOS 1303 is out. Doesn't look like it does much though.

Hey guys. I'm still having trouble updating my bios. :/ I'm still a nub when it comes to flashing the bios. So, I just use the windows utility they give.

I'm STILL getting the error after trying a bunch of fixes and talking to ASUS about the problem. The tech support guy seemed to know less than me about it as well, which is sad.

These are the errors:
"nt service registry error! please reboot nt and run again"

"no asus motherboard. Installation will be aborted now" -- This was when I uninstalled ASUS Updater to see if it was just a bad install and then tried to reinstall it (it wouldn't reinstall).

"Unable to create NT driver service for BS_DEF.DLL"

I've done the change here:

Changing the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node

to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\aWow6432Node

This didn't do anything. :/ I can't even INSTALL the device as it won't even recognize the mobo. I know I can flash the mobo with a floppy but ***. I just want to know everything is working the way it should.

:/ Anyone know how to fix teh problem? I've looked everywhere and I'm at my wits end. Thanks.

I wish I knew. I don't even have this key in my registry but haven't been able to install Asus Update ever since I've had this mobo, same errors you mention. No big deal flashing from DOS but I did quite like the convenience of the Windows utility.
