Hi FB.
This is how my confusion started. At first I thought those were the right drivers too, but take another look...the drivers you mention (nforce4 Intel X16) don't match the chipset (nforce4 "SLI" X16).
I'm getting a headache trying to figure this one out.

Re: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe thread

I just installed 1405, so far I haven't noticed any changes.

I have my 2nd replacement A8N-SLI deluxe motherboard from ASUS. This is a refurb and I don't think it is working correctly. I have a weird problem when resuming from S3 standby mode in that it resets the FSB to 200MHz. If I restart the system the FSB is once again set to 270MHz. I've examined all the settings in the BIOS and I don't see anything that could be the cause. Any ideas or do you think this refurb board is defective.

Thanks,

Re: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe thread

This may be a dead thread... but if you use the A8N32-SLI Deluxe with SLI video cards and are experiencing high CPU usage due to deferred procedure calls (DPCs) and interrupts, it MAY be caused by the PEG Link mode trying to OC your video cards.

Try setting PEG Link to normal; I had 30% or more CPU cycles being taken up with DPCs and hardware interrupts, but setting PEG Link mode to normal completely eliminated this. I also haven't seen any of the BSODs I was occasionally getting with SLI.
