One thing I really like with GSkill ram is that you get what you pay for, unlike those other brands who did marketing via reviews from Anandtech, etc. How many of us can reach those reviewer's results? Not me ever!! I am having endless string of bad luck with my RAM purchases so far.

BTW, I was not trying to convince others to get TCCDs but if you do want to get them, GSkill is really not a bad option. Price is cheaper at $260 and the rated performance is somehow guaranteed. That's all.
Humm... you do have a point about the others are selling their TCCD's as PC3200, if you bought expecting 250-270mhz and your sticks would only do 240, it dont look like you'd have a leg to stand on RMA.

On the other hand G.Skill is an unknown..I never herd of it till some guy posted on XS. How good is their Support and RMA system ?

I asked OCZ if they'd be willing to trade. My 3700 Gold Rev.3's for a good used pair of Platinum Rev.2's. They seem to be balking at the offer. I don't want to spend money on new RAM. But I'm willing to try the Platinums in exchange for the Golds. Someone at another forum was willing to let me use his BH-5 sticks which can do 265. I might give them a try with the Giga board.

Won't the gold clock higher then the plat. revision 2? The plat rev. 2 is the same RAM I have I think and it's PC3200.

My Golds will do 277 in dual channel, but with 3-4-4-8 timings. Anandtech supposedly got 273 with 3-3-3-10. The Platinums will reportedly hit 290 in DC with 2.5-4-3-10, 2.85v and 1T command rate. None of those timings are all that great, IMO. But I'm willing to try different sticks.

The support I received from Kevin (the guy who posted on XS) so far is great. I received my sticks saturday morning and initially had problems running the memory at DDR500 on MSI K8N Neo2. He replied my email on sunday with a spot on solution. Maybe becoz he is using exactly the same system. Now, I can run DDR550 and beyond flawlessly.

The memory is rated for DDR550 2.5-3-3-7 but I have been able to run DDR570 2.5-3-3-7 and both are 1T.

There will be a 939 board, but only pci express, no agp.

Oh, I'm not holding my breath either. But there seems to be some confusion regarding that board. My modded Gigabyte board should be arriving in a few days.

As for Epox boards, they tend to be hit or miss. The 754 board seems to be decent. But I've heard too many stories of Epox mobos blowing up on people.
