I can change multi's in clockgen (asus a8v version oddly enough)
I'm sure a bios update will enable multi control at some point especially since clockgen can change them. See my Abit thread for more.

I don't run Prime95 anymore. Once I get the system so that it runs SuperPI 32M and all the 3D benches without errors, it never crashes. That's the way I did it with my SK8V. That system was rock stable 24/7.

That's a problem I had before updating to the 1005.020 or 1005.021 bios.

The 3700EB running at 2.8v maxes around 252 @ 1:1. I can live with that.

The 512MB modules are almost impossible to find right now. Bigtoe says OCZ is ramping up production of EB again, so maybe they'll start appearing soon. I think the reseller would let me exchange my sticks for 2X512. After all, it's more money for them.

I havent even thought about useing just 512mb of memory in well over a year.
I like to run my games with all options set to high...and lots of todays games hit the HDD way way to much to sute me with just 512mb

But 2x256mb sure do make for some fine overclocking yes And those two sticks you have their are looking real real good.

I am amazed they do 2-2 at only 2.8v-2.85v. Those are the micron chips right?

I haven't removed the heat spreaders, but according to the reviews, they use Micron chips.

A few people who tried that BIOS lost the lock option. Of course, this could be a newer version. I may try it later. But 1005.021 is working well for me now.

They may have taken it out because of the mixup of the early vs newer serials. You know they delayed the 939 for so long, you would think that by now the locks and multis would be a no brainer. It seems like we have to go through this same process everytime they make any revision to a chipset platform.

Yes, it's hard getting a straight answer about anything. I can't wait for another modded BIOS or OCZ's VDimm booster device. Would love to give these EB sticks a little more juice.
