Guess it's when I blew a chunk o dough on some PC4200 on my Intel rig...sure I hit 267 1:1....but the system was slugish, and games suffered from cas3. | |

| The EB stuff seems to be different. I've always been a believer in low latencies and tight timings. But there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between Cas2.5 and 3.0 on this RAM. The EB sticks get hot, so a good auxiliary fan is recommended. I'm still working on trying to break 2800MHz. |

| Hey, I've had these sticks for only a day. I'm entitled to have some fun. lol. I'm trying to find the limits of both the memory and the system. The ATI card's VPU recovery kicks in after I try to go above 300HTT. The system is 3D stable at 2.7GHz, but of course I can bench Sandra much higher. I'm hitting the proverbial brick wall as far as getting everything 100% stable above 2.7GHz. More voltage needed maybe? Using a divider, I have no trouble benching with the memory running at 253-254. | well all the options keep it interesting. There's some word that if you set the vdim to auto, the clip on mod may work. Too late for me though.
