Sorry, can't help you with gaming. I've tried some of the other "uber" betas. None of them are better than 217 for BH-5, IMO. Of course, if I were primarily using TCCD, I might have a different opinion.

Thanks for finding the tref chart. I'll add the link to the first post.

Don't know of anyone using that heatsink. But according to Thermalright's compatibility section, the heatpipes will block the first PCIe slot.

johnrr6 is using the xp120 in his rig, and he said he has no problem with it interfering with the dual channel memory slots.

Either Corsair didn't make good sticks with TCCD or this board doesn't like Corsair TCCD. I can't get either set to run at 260 with timings set to 2.5-3-3-5. I am able to go farther than that with the Gskill. Now I need to decide if I should sell these since they are "new" or have 2 gig in my other system...

Have you tried 2.5-4-3-7? A lot of people are using those timings with TCCD.

I hate to say it, but I didnt have any luck with Corsairs TCCD's either.

I know from personal experences PQI's TCCD {DBU}, and OCZ's 3200Platnum rev2 works just fine at @ cas2.5-3-3-7-1t up to 275htt, then you have go cas2.5-4-3-7-1t till the sticks max out {300 to 320 htt}

Pic#1 = UTT @260x11 cas2-2-5-2-1t .......VST=177fps
Pic#2 = TCCD @286x10 cas2.5-4-3-7-1t ...VST=184fps

That put the CPU in each case at 2860Mhz, so the main difference in system performance was in memory latency.

If the UTT could be clocked higher it would catch up with the TCCD. Main problem is I can not for the life of me get the UTT or my old BH-5 to run a game more than a few mins with out BSOD/Crash or some issue. The TCCD's I can game untill my fingers bleed, and my eyes fall out.

I'm surprised there's a seven frame difference between UTT at 260 and TCCD at 286. Of course there are different types of UTT from what I've read, including the variety used in VX.

Easy Guys

Hey, I have had nothing but troubles trying to get my rig running. Even at stock speeds. The Ballistix worked for a month and had it running at 230 for a couple of days, then tried 235 and I got MemTest errors. Backed it down and it never passed MemTest again without errors. Now it's junk. Just got (2) 512MB OCZ PC4000 VX today. Gonna start working on those. Hope they don't crap out also. This is DFI's last chance.

I got the same 177fps with my old school Twinmos BH-5, and the same instability

And what makes me crazy is PI and looping 3DM 01 no Problems. Heck Prime would even last an hour or so.
