Sierra what are your impressions of the OCZ PS 600w ???? Is just OK, Super, or you liked your PC P&C better ??

Shouldn't AMD include info regarding this CPU on their site? If not, why are they so inclined to post it? After all, don't they want the end users to know and set their anticipations/expectations on whatever is newest coming up? Stupid AMD...if that's the case.

I kinda like the way AMD has been doing it...take the soc 939 3000+/3200+
Their was no hype..no slipped or missed dates {in our eyes} when they were in stock and for sale, it didnt take us long to know about.

No hype

ATI and nVidia hyped and shouted their wears early last year about the x800, and the 6800's and what did that get us but all excited, and stores still dont ahve normal stock of either high end part....

Hehehe...I like you! Well, how about not even giving any CPU Roadmap info at all? Not even to any websites, huh? That way, we will be surprised all the times! I like this better, if you are into surprises.

The OCZ PowerStream 600W is solid. The only thing I don't like are the rail adjustment knobs. Way too sensitive.

Posted in a hurry yesterday, sorry!

Here Goes

DFI NF4-SLI-DR
AMD 3500+ (90nm)
2X512 OCZ 3700 gold rev 3
2XLeadtek 6800 GT
OCZ 600 PSU

The Leadtek's as standard DO NOT fit this board, I had an NV5 lying around, so fitted it, and that wouldn't fit either, so I've had to do some modding to the Leadtek HSF to get something that fits. Now the only thing I ca come up with is that the motherboard doesn't like the mix of fans used (NV5 and Leadtek), and they are drawing slightly differing volts. Is that plausible? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? I've tried a variety of drivers from 66.93 to 71.50, each with the same problem. This is on a clean widows XP install with SP".

Definitely sounds like a compatibility problem. I think you need to find a lower-profile HSF for both Leadtek cards.

209 has Memtest built into it. You have to disable it in the BIOS, otherwise Memtest will start up every time you boot. I tried it but didn't notice any improvement, so I switched back to 201.
